Terms of Service

The agreement for using Oscivara Studio, SteppeMind and paid AI credits at oscivara.com.

1. Operator and contact

Oscivara is operated by Individual Entrepreneur Komarov A.V. Address: Republic of Kazakhstan, Astana, MILLENNIUM PARK. Contact: support form. Effective version: 2026-09-08.

2. Service and eligibility

Oscivara is a browser music studio with editing, MIDI, sound libraries, project storage and optional AI tools. Some features are in beta and may change. You must be at least 18 or the age of majority where you live to buy credits. You must provide accurate account details, protect your login and use only payment methods you are authorised to use. Availability depends on your country and provider restrictions.

3. Prices and credits

The editor and the features identified as free do not require a credit purchase. Paid credits buy access to metered SteppeMind tasks; they are not money, a deposit, cryptocurrency or transferable stored value. They cannot be traded, sent to another account or withdrawn for cash. Refund rights are described separately below.

Each one-time purchase states the number of credits, currency, taxes and final total before payment. There is no automatic renewal for credit packs. Current prices and the task confirmation screen show the applicable offer. Tax estimates may change when the checkout verifies your billing address. The validity of one-time credits and any expiry conditions for prolonged inactivity are disclosed before purchase; see the refund policy. Previously purchased credits retain the terms applicable when purchased. Future prices apply to new purchases; already purchased quantities do not change, while the credit cost of future tasks may change and is shown before you start them.

4. Delivery and task charging

Credits are delivered electronically to the account used for the purchase after the payment processor confirms payment. Delivery is normally automatic; verification or service interruptions can delay it. Contact support with the receipt or order ID if payment succeeded but your balance has not updated. Do not send full card details.

Before a paid task begins, its credit quote is reserved. A successful task settles the charge; a failed or cancelled task releases or refunds its reserved credits according to its final status. A delivered AI result is not guaranteed to match your creative expectations. Technical defects and mandatory consumer remedies remain covered by the refund policy.

5. Payment seller and refunds

The seller for a payment and the available payment method are identified at checkout and on the receipt. When you choose Dodo Payments, the entity identified at its checkout acts as Merchant of Record, handling the sale, applicable transaction taxes and monetary refunds. The Dodo Payments buyer terms and our Refund Policy apply. Oscivara provides the music software and support. Mentioning a provider here does not mean that payments are already enabled.

5.1. Cloud subscriptions

Cloud, Creator and Pro renew monthly at the price and with the contents shown before checkout. Checkout shows the final tax and total. Consent to recurring billing is requested separately from a one-time credit purchase. Cancel renewal through Account → Subscription & credits; the paid period remains available.

Monthly credits are usable during a paid subscription, carry over one additional month and are capped at two monthly allowances for the current plan. The validity of one-time credits and any expiry conditions for prolonged inactivity are disclosed before purchase; see the refund policy. Previously purchased credits retain the terms applicable when purchased. After a subscription ends, the free storage quota applies. Over-quota uploads pause; at least 90 days are provided to download or reduce data. There is no automatic file deletion or automatic overage billing. Current allowances and instructions appear on the plans page.

6. Your content and AI results

You retain rights you already hold in your uploads and projects. You grant us the limited permission needed to process, store and display them to provide the features you request. Publishing in the community makes the selected content accessible to others under the publication settings you choose. Upload or publish only material you have permission to use, including voices and likenesses.

AI output may be inaccurate, similar to other output or subject to third-party rights. We do not promise exclusive ownership, copyright protection, non-infringement or commercial clearance of every result. Your use must respect the applicable model, sample and component licences and the law. Review results before distributing them. We do not obtain ownership of your music merely because you use Oscivara.

7. Acceptable use

Do not infringe copyright or privacy, impersonate people deceptively, upload unlawful content, exploit minors, conduct fraud, bypass security or billing limits, resell accounts or credits, or disrupt the service. Report suspected infringement or abuse to support with the relevant link and evidence. We may restrict the affected content or account to investigate abuse or comply with law; you may contact support to dispute a restriction.

Do not use the service to clone a real person's voice, create pornographic content, present AI-generated material as another person's authentic statement, or distribute music without the necessary rights. You are responsible for having the rights to the audio, text and other source materials you upload.

8. Storage and privacy

Keep independent copies of important work and exported files. Local browser storage can be lost when browser data is cleared. Cloud storage, task history and provider processing are explained in the privacy policy. Do not upload secrets or highly sensitive information in prompts or audio. Service limits shown in the application may change.

9. Availability, closure and liability

We work to maintain the service but do not promise uninterrupted availability or a particular musical result. We may suspend features for maintenance, security, provider outages or legal requirements. Material changes to paid features or these terms will be communicated through the application or your account email. If we permanently discontinue paid access, contact support for the treatment of unused purchased credits, including any refund required by law. You can request account closure through support; statutory records may still need to be retained.

To the extent permitted by law, our liability for an affected paid service is limited to the amount you paid for that service. This does not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including fraud, intentional misconduct, or mandatory consumer rights. No clause requires you to waive those rights.

10. Governing law and third-party software

Kazakhstan law governs this product agreement, subject to the mandatory protections and competent courts available to you under applicable consumer law. Contact support first so that we can try to resolve a concern. The terms of the seller identified on the receipt also apply to the payment transaction.

Open-source components retain their own licences. These terms do not restrict rights granted by those licences, including LGPL-3.0-or-later. The MIDI parser and other components are documented in third-party notices and open-source information. This document is available in English and Russian; mandatory local rights prevail in either language.
